THIS IS 35

Now that I'm 35 and a month, I finally found the time to write some words... 35! My God! If you would have asked me six years ago where I would be at this age, I couldn't have predicted any of it. Back then, I was still living in Tel-Aviv in a one bedroom apartment with my boyfriend of four years at the time, working 9-5 in television, and enjoying the sunny beach life. Now, I'm about to be a mother of 3 (!!) in this crazy City that never sleeps. And, I couldn't imagine it any other way!
As I sit here reflecting on the last many years, I am beyond grateful for what I have - especially for our little Dekel crew that is about to get just a whole bit bigger! Each year before my birthday, I spend time thinking about what I've accomplished so far and what my goals are for the coming year of life. Ah, I still can't believe I'm 35! Where does the time go?!

I'm happy - really happy, at this stage of life. I also find myself leaping into all new levels of gratitude, for all of the people that surround me and the opportunities that are in abundance. I know you hear me say over and over again how grateful I am, but it's an incredible thing to look back and smile, really smile, about where you are, and feel that warmth and love so deeply. But, back to my goals for the coming year...here's what I've come up with. Let me know what you think I should add!
1) Exercise More! There's no better release of tension and build-up of strength than tapping into your core - both physically and mentally. Working out strengthens my mind and body and I hope to develop a stronger dedication in the coming year. (I feel like I always set this intention on New Years Eve..but now, I really want to follow up on it!)
2) Travel More! Our little family spends a lot of time in Israel throughout the year, as well as Miami and some other local spots. But, I'd love to travel to a few new places during this next year of life. I know it will be challenging with a new baby in tow, but if our expanded family could visit even one new place - maybe in South America - it would be a real treat! Life isn't meant to be lived in one place, and I want to see as much of this glorious world as I possibly can!
3) Good Health to All of Us! This is more of a wish than a goal, but health is the real wealth of life. We should only know from good days and strong, able bodies. For each of us Dekels and anyone reading this!
4) EASY LABOR!! I would be remiss if I didn't hope for an easy delivery with my third baby! It's been two years since I've been in labor - and all mothers say we forget how hard it was while doing it, because the product of our efforts is a beautiful little bundle of joy. But, yes, I'd love an easy labor :).
Here are some pics from our family photoshoot in the sunset (You know how hard it is to find a good pic of all of us??? impossible!)
